The Macqurie 25 has been our most popular model and has established itself as an Australian Classic. Since it was introduced in 2003, hundreds of happy owners have travelled around the country in one. The original design remains to this day, but like all our 5th Wheelers it has been a subject of continuous improvement based on customer feedback and our internal research and development. The result of all these years of improvements can be seen today in the Macquarie 25 and right across our Macquarie range.
The most remarkable thing about this travelhome is that of all the hundreds built over the years, 100% of them are still on the road today. This is a testament to the quality workmanship that goes into every travelhome. Each travelhome is built in Newcastle, NSW on the shores of Lake Macquarie. Only the best and most advanced materials are used, and the manufacturing process involves co-ordinating thousands of parts through hundreds of complex steps to achieve the final product. Our craftsmen use their attention to detail to follow detailed inspection checklists and ensure that quality remains at 100% through every stage. We promise our customers 100% quality, and we back up this promise with a 5 year construction warranty, factory servicing, and a 1300 customer care number so we can quickly deal with any problems you may encounter. Our customer care team is always eager to help!
To last this long, the Macquarie 25 has to be built to withstand the worst that the harsh Australian environment can throw at it. Australia is a land of dirt roads, dust, wind, sun, and the extremes of weather and temperature. Travelhome fifth wheelers are built with a strong galvanised steel box chassis, a high ground clearance, a low centre of gravity, gel-coated aluminium internal cupboards, a hitch that allows oscillation in any direction on bumpy roads, and an overlapping fibreglass shell that provides a strong frame and makes the travelhome dust and water proof.
